About the foundation

The concept of the foundation emerged during meetings of representatives of polish companies during EdTech events abroad. From the initial, informal cooperation and friendly advice, we decided to create an official representation of the industry. As the agents responsible for initiating the foundation, we have a strong belief that the outcome of partnership will be fruitful.

Main tasks of partnership:

exchange of know-how, good practice and experience between edtech companies,
representing polish edtech branch abroad and supporting its international expansion,
creating a partnership platform between polish edtech companies,
promoting good educational solutions both polish and foreign in Poland.

We especially hope to work with:

edtech start-ups and companies,
business and education experts,
government institutions,
NGOs,
distributors interested in educational solutions,
investors that are interested in edtech start-ups.

Mateusz Rybiński

Mateusz is one of the co-founders and originator of the idea of Foundation. He strongly believes in the power of collaboration among companies within industry clusters, which led him to initiate the idea of establishing the foundation. Mateusz has played a key role in building and expanding several EdTech companies across Europe and Asia, including Koding Next, Skriware, Cyber Fox, and Edustr.io. He has also been involved in numerous advisory projects for companies in the industry.

Rafał Lew-Starowicz

Until recently, deputy director of the department of the Ministry of National Education, where he was responsible for innovation in education. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, PhD studies at APS and Top Public Executive IESE Business School in Barcelona. Polish delegate to the OECD Educational Policy Committee, expert of the European Commission Agency: Research Executive Agency, Innovation and Networks Executive Agency and member of the Media Education Team at the Pedagogical Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Was recognized as one of the 100 people who contributed the most to the development of digital competences in Poland by the members of the SPRUC chapter.
